• first and second melting foundries for aluminium, ferrous or non-ferrous metals
• alloys transformation
• hot transformation: lamination, rolling, drawing…
• thermal and surface treatment in atmosphere or vacuum

The iron and steel industry uses mostly industrial thermocouples.
