Industrial thermocouple sensors
with metallic protector
"CTOT" range

These industrial thermocouples are used in the process and power industries.
Thermocouples are protected by one metallic protecting tube or by one internal ceramic protector and one external metallic protector. The choice of the tube material depends on the temperature to be measured and on the atmosphere (inert, oxidizing, reducing or sulfurous atmospheres).
The sensor can be fixed by fixed or sliding fitting, or by a welded or adjustable flange.
Connection to the regulating system is made through a connecting head, generally in aluminium, equiped with a ceramic terminal block or a transmitter.

The mostly used thermocouples are K , J, T or N type.
Mechanical data
These thermocouples are generally insulated by ceramic beads. They may also be mineral insulated with magnesium oxide stuffing which gives a higher protection against corrosion.
Accuracy
Accuracy is defined by the thermocouple wires tolerances as per IEC 584 standard
Applicable standards
IEC 584
UTE 46201
Specific standards are taken into consideration whenever requested by customers.
