Such temperature sensors are suitable for a large number of applications and operating conditions (food industry, home automation, special tooling…).
Their design makes them easy and efficient to use ; the active part of generally small dimension is prolonged by a flexible cable of variable length.
The choice of materials depends on the operating conditions of the sensor.

1) of the sensing element

         - Class A : + 0,15 + 0,002 [t°]
         - Class B : + 0,30 + 0,005 [t°]
         Reduced tolerances on request

    •  CTN / CTP thermistor or semiconducor : depending on the chosen components

2) of the sensor
    Accuracy depends on the assembly: 2, 3 or 4 wires

Below indications correspond to a PS probe with platinum resistance, 1 x 100 Ohms at 0°C.
Tests performed in compliance with  IEC 751 standard, on a 1 x PT100 RTD probe, with 3 wires, temperature range: –20°C + 100°C

Recommendations
